Everything is handcrafted in small batches with love and positive intent by our founder and certified cosmetic formulator, Elizabeth. Founder

Hi everyone! I'm Elizabeth, the founder and cosmetic formulator behind Félin Lune Apothecary. I handle every aspect of the business from formulating, production, fulfillment and more!

I went to the University of California, Irvine majoring in Psychology with a pre-med curriculum with the goal of one day going to medical school. After graduation, I worked in medical related jobs while preparing for the MCAT. During this time I became increasingly overwhelmed and it was hard to find happiness and fulfillment in what I was doing. In 2018 I was diagnosed with depression and made the very difficult decision in 2019 to give up on my ultimate career goal, becoming a doctor. Around this time was also when I discovered soap making! Learning how to make soap brought back a spark of creativity that I hadn’t felt for years. Félin Lune Apothecary was born soon after.

Learning how to formulate and finding something that made me feel such intense joy really reminded me that I needed to learn how to love myself again, and seek the things that made me happy. The products I make are part of my self-care ritual, and they remind me of how far I’ve come. Today, I continue to expand my knowledge in cosmetic chemistry to create wonderful jars of handcrafted curiosities. Thank you for joining me in this journey.
